Richard Arnold, the CEO of Manchester United, was seen giving Frenkie de Jong an update on his transfer.

Manchester United's Richard Arnold has stated that the club will do everything possible to sign Frenkie de Jong this summer.

United's CEO Arnold surprised a gathering of United supporters in his local pub in Cheshire before they planned to protest the Glazers ownership of the club outside his house.

Arnold was candid in multiple conversations about the club, and the conversation inevitably turned to the club's poor start in the transfer market.

Despite the necessity for a huge overhaul at Manchester united stadium Old Trafford to give new manager Erik ten Hag the best chance of success, United have yet to make a signing, despite the fact that Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham have all strengthened significantly.

Ten Hag is said to have picked De Jong as his ideal midfielder signing and the guy who would assist him implement his style of play on the field Ten Hag wants the Barcelona player, according to Arnold, and money will not be an issue in the deal falling throughout is a big loss.
