Sadio Mane leaves anfield after six years contract at Liverpool and joins Bayern Munich.

Sadio Mane leave liverpool after completing a £35.1 million transfer to Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane's time at Anfield has come to an end.

Mane represents the beginning of the epic adventure that has subsequently followed since the summer of 2016 as the first important signing of Jurgen Klopp's time at Liverpool.

The 30-year-old, who started on the right wing before switching to the left, and then on to the center, has been instrumental in the Reds' success and has displayed incredible levels of versatility.

His speed, strength, cunning, and smile instantly brightened Anfield, and in his six years with the team, he has won every trophy available for Liverpool.

But with only one year left on his contract, Mane decided to seek for a new experience and chose Bayern Munich as his final stop.

A deal was ultimately reached for an initial £27.5 million, plus £7.6 million in add-ons, after negotiations saw the German side attempt to make proposals that were substantially below the value that Liverpool placed on their star player.

Following Mane's positive physical, the two clubs have now officially announced the deal, and the forward has signed a three-year contract with the German champions.

Being on the losing end of the Senegalese's skill against Liverpool over the years, Julian Nagelsmann is intimately familiar with the threat he can represent to the opposition.

Mane's exit is accompanied by a tinge of melancholy due to the work he has done for the team since arriving from Southampton and making 269 appearances while contributing 120 goals.

With victories in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup to his credit, he leaves Anfield a legend.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are expected to compete for the Champions League title in the near future, so it might not be long before the two teams cross paths again.
